My MouseCave started as a spare bedroom. It was full of a variety of stuff, nothing in particular and everything in general.
As I realized how much Disney stuff we had scattered throughout the house, and that some really special things were stashed in the closets, I decided we needed to make a room specifically for our Disney stuff.
And thus the MouseCave was born. I started calling that as a joke, but the more I said it, the more I liked it.
The picture on the wall is a 1,000 piece puzzle that Joe put together years ago; the wall pendant is from the Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish package I got a few years ago.
The next area in the MouseCave is my "workstation".
Work is defined as planning our next Disney trip! The Mickey lamp has sound, and Mickey throws out a variety of sayings when you turn it on and off. Finally, this area is where I store my scrapbooks, albums, ears and pins.
There's nothing more relaxing than sitting in the recliner and dreaming about our next visit. Between you and me, I may occasionally put on the ears too. But we'll keep that between us.
In the stereo is a great CD a friend sent me - it's got about 25 theme songs from various park attractions, such as the Tiki Room, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and so on.
Listening to than takes me back to The World every time!
My blanket made the blog! **yes**
